International City was the place to be on Saturday 22nd November, when the NAM Communications team hosted a fantastic outdoor market day. The weather was glorious and around three hundred people turned up, eager to buy and sell a variety of different wares. From homemade cakes to secondhand clothes, the stalls were bursting with interesting finds and amazing bargains!

The crowd was entertained throughout the morning by Kartel Jazz, a South American jazz band which encouraged many market-goers to linger to enjoy the music, even after they had rummaged through all the stalls and surveyed all of the tempting goods on offer.

A whole host of retailers from International City generously supplied a delicious array of free food and beverages to everyone at the market day, giving International City residents the opportunity to sample some of the cuisine available in their neighbourhood.
