Progress update - Lake District

Construction is moving ahead

Groundbreaking on Lake District took place in Q2 of 2008, and construction is progressing smoothly. As you can see from the images, a lot of progress has been made already. It is a delicate area due to the Al Warsan Lake and the wild-life that exists there.  Nakheel continues to look after and nourish the lake which is now home to over 190 species of birds. The residential area around Lake District promises to become one of the most premium parts of International City and the Al Warsan area in general.
